Local Government | Msunduzi municipality workers down tools

Service delivery has come to a halt in Msunduzi as municipal workers continue with their labour strike.

Piles of uncollected rubbish and overturned bins are tossed across the central business district of KwaZulu-Natal's capital.

The South African Municipal Workers Union (SAMWU) said the municipality has been refusing to address some long-standing labour issues.
