US War on Iran | US prepares to elevate economic war against Iran

The United States is preparing to take its economic war against Iran to a new level, threatening not only Tehran, but countries and companies around the world that continue doing business with it.

Treasury Secretary, Scott Bessent, says Washington will unveil what he calls the toughest sanctions in history at a media conference on Monday.

While President Trump has described the campaign as an unprecedented programme of 'economic warfare and isolation,' including targeting oil smuggling, financial transfers, exchange houses, front companies and other channels supporting Iran's economy.
