Ukraine targets major Russian oil refinery | Military Mind

Ukraine’s campaign against Russia’s oil infrastructure continues to reach deeper into the country, with another major refinery coming under fire.

On the morning of August 21, a drone alert was declared across Perm, sirens were activated, and residents reported explosions. The local airport temporarily suspended arrivals and departures, while smoke was seen rising from the Lukoil refinery. The facility is one of Russia’s largest refineries, processing more than 13 million tons of crude oil every year. More than half of its petroleum products are exported, making the facility an important part of Russia’s energy system.
