Hantavirus Scare | British man critically ill in Sandton hospital

A British man who developed Hantavirus symptoms while on an Atlantic cruise is fighting for his life in a Sandton hospital.

The Department of Health says the 69-year-old became ill while the ship was travelling from St Helena to Ascension Island.

He was then transferred to a private hospital in Sandton where he remains in a critical condition. Stuart Smith has more from London.
