Madlanga Commission | Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala expected to take the stand

Attempted murder accused Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala is expected to take the stand at the Madlanga Commission, after Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC) Senior Investigator Colonel Brian Padayachee concludes his evidence.

Matlala is central to corruption allegations before the Commission.
Matlala is expected to face questions about the R228 million Medicare24 SAPS tender, and the controversial blue lights allegedly fitted to his private vehicles through agreements with the City of Ekurhuleni.

There have been reports that Matlala's attorney will seek a postponement, however, Commission spokesperson Jeremy Michaels would not comment on the matter. For more, we are joined by our reporter Canny Maphanga.
