Funeral of ANC struggle stalwart Dr Pule Matjoa is underway in Bloemfontein

ANC struggle veteran, Dr Pule Matjoa, will be laid to rest in Bloemfontein on Saturday.

Dr Matjoa left South Africa as a teenager after the ANC was banned in 1960. He received military training in Cuba, where he also qualified as a dentist.

The 88-year-old has been given a Special Provincial Official funeral where his long-time friend pays tribute
