Restore dignity of the poor as tribute to Sisulu: Motlanthe

Former President Kgalema Motlanthe says restoring the dignity of poor South African will be a fitting tribute to the late former ANC deputy president Walter Siuslu.

Motlanthe was addressing the 2nd Walter Sisulu Annual Lecture at the Vaal University of Technoloy.

The event was attended by members of the Sisulu family including the Patron of the Walter and Albertina Sisulu Foundation for Social Justice Dr Lindiwe Silulu and her deputy and former Statistician General Dr Pali Lehotla.

Motlanthe says Sisulu dedicated his entire life to the service of his people and his country.
