Cabinet approves electricity pricing overhaul - Matthew Cruise

South Africa's proposed electricity-tariff framework policy is expected to be gazetted today. Cabinet has approved a Revised Electricity Pricing Policy for public comments that aims to reduce high electricity cost. The policy seeks to establish a tariff path that provides certainty on the cost of electricity over the next 10 years.
