CS Murkomen set to appear before parliament security committee over violence in political rallies

Cabinet Secretary for Interior Kipchumba Murkomen is set to appear before the National Assembly Security Committee on Tuesday next week following the wave of rising cases of violence in political rallies across the country. Lawmakers, citing the recent incidents in Homa Bay, faulted relevant security agencies, saying the escalating incidents risk degenerating the country into anarchy if not tamed as the country gears towards the 2027 general election.
