EC police probe Wells Estate mass shooting

Eastern Cape police in Gqeberha are investigating a case of a double murder and another of attempted murder following a mass shooting incident at Wells Estate.

Authorities say they received a complaint of a shooting taking place on Masinga Street.

Police Spokesperson, Nobuntu Gantana, says upon arrival, officers found the bodies of two men with multiple gunshot wounds.

Gantana says six other victims were rushed to nearby health facilities for medical attention.
