Former Knysna Mayor Aubrey Tsengwa shot dead

Former Knysna Mayor, and Ward 8 Councillor, Aubrey Tsengwa has been shot dead in Concordia.

Tsengwa and three others were reportedly on their way home on Wednesday night when an unknown gunman approached them and opened fire.

Tsengwa, who was driving, was declared dead at the scene.

One person was wounded and taken to hospital.

Police are investigating murder and attempted murder.
