At least 13 killed in #Russian #attack on #Kyiv overnight

At least 13 people have been killed and 32 injured in a major Russian overnight attack on Kyiv, Ukrainian officials said.

Residential buildings, warehouses, stores and a children’s hospital were damaged, while fires broke out across the Ukrainian capital.

Emergency crews rescued people from damaged buildings and pulled two survivors from the rubble. Parts of Kyiv were also left without power.

Ukrainian officials said Russia attacked the capital using drones as well as ballistic and cruise missiles.

Another person was reportedly killed in the wider Kyiv region.
