Joshua Otieno has battled poverty, loss and sacrifices just to stay in school. The young man from Mukuro in Suna West Constituency, Migori County, has spent years digging in mines not for wealth, but for a means to see him through school. Otieno has finally earned a place in university, but money is standing in the way of his quest for higher education. Here`s his story.
