CPUT | CPUT rules out forced evictions despite deadline - Vanessa Poonah reports

The Cape Peninsula University of Technology says it will not forcibly evict students from its campuses, as the deadline to vacate residences has passed.
The university says the decision to suspend the academic programme was taken to calm tensions after extensive damage to its property and injuries sustained during student protests.
