When Terry Fox had to pause his 'Marathon of Hope' | Throwback

The trailer for a new documentary about Terry Fox featuring 'never-before-seen’ footage was released Wednesday, ahead of its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

Run Terry Run promises an inside look at the British Columbia athlete and cancer research advocate's 1980 Marathon of Hope, his attempt to run across Canada to raise money for cancer research after his leg was amputated due to osteogenic sarcoma.

Fox's marathon was cut short outside of Thunder Bay, Ont., after the cancer spread to his lungs.
