Sports facilities across the Kai !Garib Local Municipality in the Northern Cape are crumbling following years of vandalism and neglect.

Once active grounds have been stripped of equipment and left to deteriorate - leaving young sport enthusiasts high and dry.

The municipality faces mounting service delivery challenges, with its equitable share recently withheld by National Treasury, amid concerns over its financial affairs.
