DHA vs Adetshina | Protests outside court as Chidimma Adetshina appears

The Cape Town Regional Court has ruled that it cannot make a determination in the civil matter between the Department of Home Affairs and Chidimma Adetshina.

A High Court matter is pending in which the former Miss South Africa contestant and Miss Universe Nigeria is challenging, among others, the decision to withdraw her South African ID.

Home Affairs brought an application to have Adetshina detained for purposes of deportation.

Members of various civic organisations protested outside the court.
