ANC seeks ethics probe of Burke allegations: Mdumiseni Ntuli

The Democratic Alliance has removed MP Mark Burke from Parliament's finance committees, a day after defending him amid growing controversy surrounding Kastelo, the fintech company he founded.

DA Parliamentary Leader George Michalakis says the decision was taken as a precautionary measure to avoid any perception of a conflict of interest, while the Reserve Bank investigates Kastelo over suspected exchange-control violations.
