Fannie Nkosi back in court

Fannie Nkosi is scheduled to make his next court appearance on Wednesday the 19th of August 2026. Nkosi, a sergeant in the police's Organised Crime Unit was suspended late March, and arrested days later in early April when a SAPS task team executed a search warrant at his house in Pretoria North and discovered a large cache of weapons, state ammunition, hidden cash, and official police dockets, leading to his immediate arrest.  He made a brief appearance on the 22nd of  July at the PTA North Magistrates Court. At this appearance the Deputy National Director of Public Prosecutions officially centralized.
