Four people appear in court over extortion

Four people, including a SAPS member, have appeared briefly in the Bellville Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

This, in relation to alleged extortion of foreign national shop owners in Stellenbosch.

Three South Africans, all family members, and one Somalian national will face charges relating to the Acquiring, Possession and using the Proceeds of Crime.
