ASEAN Cup: Singapore out despite 2-1 win against Thailand in second leg

Singapore are out of the ASEAN football championship despite beating Thailand 2-1 in the second leg on Tuesday (Aug 18).

This follows an equaliser from Thailand's Kakana Khamyok in the 61st minute and an own goal forced by Singapore’s Ryhan Stewart when the ball deflected off Thailand’s Pansa Hemviboon’s shin and into the net.

The Lions fell 3-4 on aggregate to Thailand after a 1-3 loss at the Jalan Besar Stadium last Saturday.
