*The Madlanga Commission has heard that WhatsApp messages between late, Jothan 'Mswazi' Msibi, and alleged runner Sgt. Fannie Nkosi revealed that Nkosi used his SAPS position to acquire high-level security technology.

*Electricity and Energy Minister, Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa, has outlined the country's Revised Electricity Pricing Policy, aiming to provide greater certainty to electricity users over the next decade.

*A second accused has joined the Reiger Park mass shooting case in the Boksburg Magistrate's Court. The matter relates to the killing of two Anti-Gang Unit officers and two women, gunned down earlier this month.

*Zimbabwean authorities say they are burying recovered bodies immediately after identification, due to the advanced stages of decomposition. The death toll in the ferry disaster which capsized last Tuesday on Lake Kariba has risen to 93.
