Legal practitioners to be deployed at police stations to strengthen criminal justice system

The Mitchells Plain Safety and Development Forum has welcomed the initiative to place legal practioners in police stations in a bid to strengthen the criminal justice system.
The Mitchells Plain Police Station opens on average 1500 dockets monthly.

The initiative is a collaboration between the Western Cape government, the SAPS, and the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organised Crime.
