De Aar residents pin hope for access to water on polls

Residents of Enkanini township in De Aar in the Northern Cape say they are struggling with access to water.

The land was invaded by the residents a few years ago and hundreds of shacks have been erected.

Residents say despite promises by the Emthanjeni municipality, they've had no access to running water.
