*The United Nations Secretary General has expressed deep concern over reports of xenophobic attacks in KwaZulu Natal, further condemning criminal acts perpetrated by individuals inciting violence and exploiting socio-economic conditions.
UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres says violence, vigilantism and all forms of incitement to hatred have no place in an inclusive, democratic society governed by the rule of law and respect for human rights.

*The Boksburg Magistrate's Court east of Johannesburg is expected to hand down judgment today in the bail application of suspended Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department Deputy Chief Julius Mkhwanazi and City Manager Kagiso Lerutla.
The two are facing charges of corruption, fraud, and defeating the ends of justice.
