India’s Unnati Hooda advances to the women’s singles second round at the BWF Badminton World Championships in New Delhi.

The Indian debutant defeated Myanmar’s Thet Htar Thuzar 22-20, 21-16 in straight games at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium.

Hooda will next face Canada’s Michelle Li in the Round of 32.
