President Ruto says health sector reforms in the last 4 years fulfil BETA Promise

President William Ruto has said the reforms attained in the health sector in the last four years are a fulfilment of one of the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda promises. The Head of State said the reforms in the health sector have improved access to care, with Kenyans who were initially forced to pay for health services out of pocket now being covered under the Social Health Authority. He also highlighted the role of digitization in the health sector in reducing fraud in healthcare, while underscoring the place of Community Health Promoters in enhancing primary healthcare.
