* The bail application of suspended Ekurhuleni Metro Police Deputy Chief, Julius Mkhwanazi and five others will resume at the Brakpan Magistrates Court today.
The case is in connection with the murder of Emmanuel Mbense.
* A second suspect who been arrested for the murder of two Anti-Gang Unit police officers and two women in Reiger Park East of Johannesburg is ecpected to appear in court today at Boksburg Magistrate's Court.
The twenty-four year old man was arrested on Sunday afternoon following community tip offs.
* A new witness will take the stand at the Madlanga Commission when it resumes this morning.
The Commission is tasked with investigating allegations of criminality, political interference and corruption in the South African Police Service and the justice system.
* Zambia's President Hakainde Hichilema ⁠has won re-election for ⁠a second term, according to the electoral commission.
According to official results announced by the Electoral Commission in the early hours of this morning, Hichilema won roughly 60% of the valid votes, compared with 38% for his main challenger, Brian Mundubile.
