The conduct of private investigator, Paul O'Sullivan featured strongly during the Ad Hoc Committee's deliberations, as it considers the fourth draft of its report into allegations of criminal infiltration, corruption and political interference in the criminal justice system.
O'Sullivan appeared before the committee in February, with his evidence continuing over several sittings.
Now, the committee wants the report to properly capture what it describes as a series of difficulties surrounding his appearance, including alleged threatening messages to Chief of Staff in the Police Ministry, Cedric Nkabinde, his requests to appear virtually and his eventual departure from a committee sitting.
