DA requests SIU investigation into PIC investments

The DA says it has written to President Cyril Ramaphosa requesting that he mandate the Special Investigation Unit to investigate unlisted PIC investments.

The party says this investigation will help recover lost pensions and ensure accountability.
Recently, Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana said his department is mulling over the future of PIC's unlisted portfolios.

The PIC is the largest asset manager in the country, managing around 3.7 trillion worth of assets.
