46th SADC Summit | President Ramaphosa to push to accelerate industrialisation, among others

President Cyril Ramaphosa has officially assumed the SADC chairship, with South Africa taking over leadership of the regional bloc.

Ramaphosa says the country will use its chairship to accelerate industrialisation, increase regional trade and strengthen cooperation among member states.

The handover took place during the 46th Ordinary SADC Summit of Heads of State and Government in Durban.
