Governments urged to increase funding for girl-child initiatives

The National and County Governments have been urged to increase funding to community-based organizations supporting girl child initiatives. The call was made during a two-day annual camp meeting at Mochengo in Moticho Ward, Kisii County where more than 180 girls were trained on life skills, menstrual health, their rights and protection from harmful cultural practices.
