An earthquake has severely damaged a hospital in Ruteng, in Indonesia’s East Nusa Tenggara province, forcing medical staff to evacuate patients and establish a tent hospital in the car park.
Patients, including elderly people and a two-month-old baby, are being treated outdoors in intense daytime heat and colder nighttime conditions.
Al Jazeera’s Jessica Washington reports from a tent hospital in Ruteng.
