India Day 2026 celebrations in Sandton

People are gathering in Sandton for India Day 2026, celebrating Indian heritage, culture and the longstanding ties between India and South Africa.

The event comes a day after India marks 80 years of independence and is the first India Day celebration for the newly appointed Consul General of India in Johannesburg, Shri S Koventhan.
