LGE 2026 | DA unveils its six Eastern Cape mayoral candidates

The Democratic Alliance has unveiled its six Eastern Cape mayoral candidates ahead of the November local government elections.

In Nelson Mandela Bay, the party is putting 'professionalising the municipal administration' at the centre of its campaign.

While candidates elsewhere are focusing on investment, job creation, basic services and infrastructure.

Provincial Leader for the party, Andrew Whitfield, says that they are confident going into the upcoming elections, with their number one priority to create jobs.
