What happens when soil, glitter, concrete and discarded consumer goods become art? Matereality V2 answers that question on a continental scale.

This landmark exhibition gathers over 70 artists from different generations across Africa to explore material as language.

Through sculpture, installation and mixed-media works, Matereality V2 treats matter itself as the message, where process, form and meaning are bound together.

From ancestral craft to industrial pigments, the show reframes artistic hierarchies and foregrounds how artists transform everyday substances to speak to identity, history, the land, and our ecology.
