Number of homes already reduced to retain green, heritage areas: Alvin Tan

Responding to questions in parliament on Tuesday (Aug 4) about the redevelopment of Gillman Barracks and Maju Forest, Minister of State for National Development Alvin Tan said the government is not yet able to give an exact figure on how many homes the sites will provide, but that the current conceptual plan has already reduced the number of homes to preserve green and heritage areas.

He added that further engagement with stakeholders will be held after the formal consultation period closes on Aug 6. #singapore #sgnews
