March and March claims June 30 protests were free of violence and intimidation

March and March founder Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma says the June 30 protests against undocumented migrants were free of violence, and that there was no violation of the rights of foreign nationals.

She characterized the June 30 demonstrations against undocumented migrants as successful in pressurising the government to fight irregular migration.

Ngobese-Zuma has also claimed that the crime rate has declined since the protests, adding that some Somali, Pakistani, Ethiopian and Nigerian nationals are refusing to leave.
