Public hospital services paralyzed as health workers' strike continues

The Health Union Caucus is accusing county governments of failing to implement key labour agreements, including issuing confirmation letters to Universal Health Coverage, as the nurses' strike entered its second week. The caucus claims the national government has honoured its part, but counties are adamant, vowing that they will not resume work until the intern nurses are employed on permanent and pensionable terms.
