Fadli Fawzi proposes self-driving buses for late-night services, school buses next

If ongoing autonomous bus service pilots are successful, the Land Transport Authority should consider deploying self-driving buses to operate a network of late-night bus services, suggested MP Fadli Fawzi in parliament on Tuesday (Jul 7). He stated that "affordable late-night mobility should be part of a vibrant world city like Singapore", adding that self-driving buses could eventually be expanded to support school bus services amid driver shortages and rising costs.
