Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala Trial | Court hears trial-within-a-trial

The state's new witness in the attempted murder trial of Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala, and four others, has reiterated that the first accused was never assaulted during his arrest in 2024.

Police officer, Tumelo Tsotetsi, is testifying in the trial-within-a-trial in which the first accused, Musa Kekana, is objecting to the state using evidence police obtained when he was arrested.

Kekana is on trial with Matlala, Tsakani Matlala, Tiego Mabusela and Kekana.

They are accused of attempting and conspiring to kill socialite, Tebogo Thobejane, businessman, Joe Sibanyoni and music producer, Seunkie Mokubung.
