New Mpumalanga performing arts school honors Ermelo’s own Lucky Dube

The sound of music has found a new home in Ermelo, Mpumalanga.

The Department of Education has officially handed over the Lucky Dube School of Performing Arts, which honours one of South Africa's greatest musicians.

Born in Ermelo, Lucky Dube became a global reggae icon, whose music transcended borders.

Although he was killed in Johannesburg in 2007, his legacy lives on.
