Japanese golfer, Shiho Kuwaki, has won her first major title at Royal Lytham and St Annes, outlasting Germany's Esther Henseleit in a playoff to capture the Women's Open Championship

Kuwaki held her nerve after Henseleit had forced extra holes with a dramatic birdie on the 18th, sealing a landmark victory that underlined her arrival on golf's biggest stage.
