In conversation with Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana over GBVF Response Fund

The ANCWL has delivered a memorandum to Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana, during a march to the National Treasury in Pretoria on Monday morning.

They say the department has failure to allocate funding to fight and deal with gender-based violence and femicide cases despite President Cyril Ramaphosa having classified GBVF a national disaster.

The classification helps improve access to survivor services, emergency support, prevention programmes, monitoring, reporting, and oversight.
