Palestinian artist’s ‘Resurrection’ on show in London reflecting Gaza grief and hope

Bashar Alhroub, a Palestinian artist based in Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, reflects on personal and collective loss in Resurrection, a series now on display in London.
Using symbols such as flowers, birds and palm trees, the paintings set scenes of devastation alongside motifs of endurance and renewal.
