Four killed in suspected taxi attack

Four people have been gunned down in Nyanga in Cape Town.

Police say the motive for the attack is believed to be taxi-related, but this will form part of the ongoing investigation.

Police Spokesperson, Andre Traut, says the victims were travelling along Old Klipfontein Road when they stopped to repair a flat tyre.

While they were attending to the vehicle, they came under attack by unknown gunmen who opened fire on them.

The victims sustained fatal gunshot wounds and were declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel.No arrests have been made as yet.
