LGE 2026 | Ga-Chokoe community members issued instructions not to vote over demarcation dispute

Today, Sunday August 2 is the last day of the Independent Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC)'s voter registration weekend.

The IEC have urged urged voters to come out in their numbers to visit voting stations, before the voters' roll is closed.

SABC News reporter Katlego Nyoni is in Ga-Chokoe Village in the Waterberg District Municipality in Limpopo, where not a single voter registered at the local voting station since Voter Registration Weekend started on Saturday.
