Leaders call for action on women's empowerment

The Women Achievers Africa Conference and Awards has wrapped up with a strong call for African governments and institutions to move beyond promises and invest in policies, legal protections and mentorship programmes that help women reach their full potential. Delegates from more than 15 African countries, alongside representatives from all 47 counties in Kenya, pledged to strengthen women's leadership, inclusion and mentorship across the continent.
