LGE 2026 | The IEC in Mthatha say all voting stations are open for last voter registration day

Today, Sunday August 2 is the last day of the Independent Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC)'s voter registration weekend.

The IEC in the Eastern Cape says day one of the voter registration was successful, despite disruptions at six stations on Saturday.

The IEC have urged voters to come out in their numbers to visit voting stations, before the voters' roll is closed.
