LGE 2026 | Final voter registration weekend: Kim Daniels reports from Gqeberha, Eastern Cape

Voting stations across the country have opened for the final weekend of the voter registration process.

The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) says 23699 voting stations are set to operate across South Africa between eight o’clock on Saturday morning and five o’clock in the afternoon.

As the final voter registration gets underway, SABC News reporter Kim Daniels reports from Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape.
